Twice a year, Wichita State University and the WSU Alumni Association honor Shockers who either on their own, or in association with a local organization, are making significant contributions to the overall betterment of our community. Those chosen not only exemplify Wichita State's urban-serving mission but hold a special place of honor in the Shocker family.
For the inaugural event, the university selected The Wichita Children's Home and executive director Sarah Robinson for her 26 years of service to the children and young adults of Wichita.
